Double-Slit Experiment I Perch Observations #21 I December 9th
Simplifying the market screening process I Weather Report covering futures, equity indices, stocks, bonds, commodities, currencies, and crypto I Disclaimers
Since I’ve been spilling plenty of digital ink about the Wall of Worry since The Great Glass Elevator I Perch Observations #15
I thought this was an interesting take from Jordi Visser:
I’ve probably spent the majority of this year trying to get people away from exactly what you said at the beginning, which is: when you get into the point of labeling something a bubble, you’re making a very binary statement.
And the problem is when people say AI is a bubble, you can say that no revenue nuclear companies are a bubble. You could say the build out is very circular in terms of the payments, and that’s an indication of a bubble.
But the technology in terms of the innovation itself is not a bubble. And the reason I wrote and compared it to electricity is because that’s what it is. And I have a hard time having conversations with people that are thinking about it in a very narrow way, which is, well, these companies will never get the revenues from it. And that’s just a stupid statement.
